It’s always good to feel loved. Today we have a little self promotion - I noticed that the good people over at YoungGoGetter.com published a new post today and we’re all tingly inside to find out that they heart Juxtaviews.
This is the kind of post that makes us feel all warm and giddy. We all need a hug sometimes and we got one with that post. So I thought I’d take a moment to say thanks to the emails and comments we’ve found around our site and the web that keep us motivated. I think it’s good to stop and thank your readers every once in awhile. You guys keep us going.
You may have noticed that there is not one advertisement on this site. We’re obviously not in this for the money (there probably isn’t that much there anyway). We may eventually place some ads on the site but that would only to pay for hosting and take the team out to a nice pizza dinner once a month or something. Another thing that I think about Juxtaviews is that the team is completely virtual. We all either work/live in NYC/NJ but basically never see each other. Now I realize we’re only writing a few posts a week, etc. So it’s not like we’re running a full blown virtual company. For those of you who don’t really know us - we’re all full-time programmers/designers/business developers so keeping the Juxtaviews engine going takes a lot of our own personal time but we do it because we love meeting new people and discussing great ideas and products. It’s pretty much the coolest side gig one could ask for, I think. We have a new redesign and many more cool interviews coming in 2007. This was a busy week for us and we missed publishing an interview. I apologize. Trust me, we have many excellent discussion coming down the pipe.
I noticed over at YGG’s “Sites We Love” category they previously selected sites like Colour Lover, Instructables, Entrepreneur.Com, AskANinja.com, etc. All these sites we love as well and are happy to be categorized in the same grouping.
So enough about us and this cheesy loving going around. One final big thanks to our readers. That’s what this is all about - meeting creative and interesting people, and delivering great content to you. Well, at least trying to. Thanks again from the entire Juxtaviews staff. Cheers!
